Location – Hauppauge, New York Office Office (Monday – Friday)
Hours – 9:00AM – 5:30PM EST M-F
Pay rate – $25 per hour
Summary:
The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day engineering and operational activities across Operations. This position works closely with the Engineering team to coordinate local engineering support tasks, including calibration, maintenance, and equipment readiness. In addition, the operations Coordinator contributes to supporting the execution, and sustainment of Continuous Improvement initiatives in our Hauppauge Office. The role is both hands‑on and highly collaborative, ensuring that operational areas remain organized and compliant.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Engineering team with scheduling, coordinating, and documenting calibration and maintenance activities.
Help ensure equipment, tools, and workstations meet operational and safety standards.
Support all operational areas in maintaining a clean, organized, and clearly labeled workspace.
Assist in maintaining the annual Lean activity calendar, including Kaizen events, 5S audits, daily management boards, and other improvement initiatives.
Participate in improvement workshops, data collection, and follow‑up actions to ensure initiatives deliver measurable results.
Provide administrative and logistical support for Lean events, training sessions, and audits
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Ability to read and interpret operational documentation, labels, and equipment requirements.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with digital tracking systems.
Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up discipline.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution environment.
