About the role:
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will work closely with people leaders to hire top talent while providing an exceptional candidate experience. This role will focus on hiring regulated hearing care professionals across Canada for our HearCANADA clinic locations and for regulated WSA Corporate hires.
This is a permanent full-time hybrid position based within the Greater Toronto Area or surrounding areas. Some time will be spent onsite at our Burlington head office + some travel (up to 20%) will be required for industry and recruitment events across Canada.
What you'll do:
- Full-cycle recruitment management: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including submitting requisitions for approval, sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for vacancies. Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external applicants and guide candidates through the process while providing feedback.
- Coach and support people leaders: Collaborate with hiring managers across departments to understand hiring requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies. Support leaders with interviewing techniques and tools.
- Maintain systems and notes: Use the ATS and internal reporting to track requisition information, candidate status updates, and general notes.
- Branding and events: Maintain job postings within the ATS. Use external sources to post and source for hard-to-fill vacancies. Establish partnerships with governing bodies, community partners, and academic partners. Stay abreast of industry changes and competitive intelligence.
What we're looking for:
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field (business, health sciences, human resources, social sciences etc.) or a blend of other post-secondary education and relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience as a full-cycle Talent Acquisition Partner/Recruiter
- Knowledge of Employment Standards within Ontario (other provinces would be a definite asset) and Human Rights as related to Talent Acquisition is required
- Direct experience with hard-to-fill positions; preference will be given to those with prior experience recruiting in regulated environments and/or healthcare
- Technical acumen with experience adopting and leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
- Comfortability with networking and presenting to small groups
- Some travel (up to 20%) can be expected within Canada for events and recruitment marketing initiatives
- Some occasional flexibility for irregular hours could be expected to support candidates in different time zones within Canada
- Professionalism and the ability to handle multiple priorities
