We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager within the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) to support territory business development objectives. This is a hybrid position based in the GTA and travel will be required (65% on average) within the territory and to the WSA Burlington corporate office. Some national travel can be expected for conferences and events along with some infrequent international travel for product launches, learnings, and events.
About the role:
As the Regional Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Promote territory growth by continuously by developing new business opportunities and customer relationships
- Collaborate with audiology field trainer to determine specific opportunities by customer
- Provide consistent and timely service to assigned customers in your territory
- Keep up to date about competitive companies, their products and prices
- Share pertinent information about pricing and products with other employees during sales meetings
- Promptly follow up on meetings, road shows, events and training
- Ensure regional events and road shows are well attended by connecting with customers
- Follow up on Net-Promoter Score survey results and provides reporting and analysis when required
- Support the development of a strategic business plan for the year and review it quarterly with the team to increase sales from each territory
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s’ degree in the field of Business, Marketing, Commerce, Health Sciences, or a blend of other post-secondary education and relevant experience
• 3-5 years of proven sales experience in a territory-based position
• Experience selling in regulated markets is preferred; experience in healthcare or healthcare devices would be a definite asset - Experience using CRMs, ideally Salesforce and other sales enablement tools
- Strong communication skills – able to build and maintain customer relations
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Suite of applications
- Strong phone and email etiquette
- Strong understanding of sales techniques
- Strong understanding of market trends, competitive intelligence, and the ability to analyze and report on these items
- Willingness to travel within the territory (up to 65%) and to participate in some national and infrequent international travel.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- This is a territory-based position and as such, candidates must be based in the GTA or surrounding areas.
- Bilingual in English & French seen as an asset
