HearCANADA Lethbridge is seeking a fixed-term (contract) part-time Audiologist or Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner for our clinic based on Southgate Blvd South. This position will cover a short-term leave; candidates seeking full-time hours may be considered. The expected contract duration will be 2-3 months based on the start date. Hours of work would fall within regular clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm local time.
Compensation range: $34.36 - $52.30 / hour based on experience and qualifications + 8% pay in lieu of paid time off and benefits based on the contract nature of the role.
What you will do:
Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing an assortment of audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls
What we are looking for:
A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Specialist (or other provincial equivalent) or Audiology program
Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registration with your provincial governing body in good standing
Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
An excellent communicator who can establish a professional and individualized rapport with clients and team members
Comfortability in making product and service recommendations to clients and providing patient-centric education to clients to ensure product adoption
Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) would be a definite asset, though not required
