Position overview:
We are seeking a Regional Sales & Training Manager to join our WSA Canada Sales team! This role will support business to business (b2b) customers and prospects in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the far western side of North Western Ontario (Kenora and surrounding areas). Reporting into the National Sales & Training Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth within the defined territory by building strong customer relationships, delivering impactful training, and supporting business development initiatives. This position combines sales and training leadership to ensure that customers receive the highest level of support, knowledge, and engagement with a single point of contact to deliver an exceptional client journey.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a b2b sales capacity, ideally owning both land and expand aspects of the client relationship. Experience in the healthcare or hearing care space is strongly preferred. In addition to the required experience, the successful candidate will reside within the defined territory, ideally within reasonable commuting distance to an airport to support travel within the territory. Based on the nature of the role, access to a vehicle and a driver's license is required coupled with the willingness to participate in regular national travel (up to 60% of the time).

Hours: Days, Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Central Time with some flexibility as required to support different time zones and client availability
Compensation Plan: $90,000 - $115,000 CAD base salary based on experience + sales commission plan, RRSP matching program, attractive time off and vacation policies, comprehensive benefit package, learning & development opportunities, and perks + discount programs
What you'll do:
As a Regional Sales and Training Manager, you interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive performance and growth. Internally, you collaborate with sales teams, retail staff, operations, marketing, finance, HR, and senior leadership to align strategies, deliver training, support product launches, resolve issues, and report on regional performance. Externally, you build and maintain strong relationships with customers, community partners, industry professionals, and vendors by providing training, product expertise, and ongoing support to strengthen loyalty, expand market presence, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Land and expand the customer base within the assigned territory
Identify prospective customers and dormant customer accounts within the territory
Perform market research and analysis on prospects to create targeted reach-outs
Conduct initial sales calls and follow-ups; leverage support from marketing and sales leadership as appropriate
Network and seek out opportunities to engage with prospects at events
Leverage tools such as referral introductions and LinkedIn to engage with prospects
Prospect with the goal of continuing to diversify WSA's customer portfolio and to create a pipeline of new business opportunities
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
Conduct regular tailored business reviews with existing customers to identify trends, areas for improvement and areas for additional training
Act as the primary point of contact with existing customers and action customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with urgency and tact
Monitor and follow up on Net Promoter Score survey results, providing reporting and analysis as required
Host and actively participate in events
Host local events with the support of marketing
Attend and actively participate in industry and local events
Leverage opportunities to speak on WSA products and to act as a company ambassador
Perform post-event analysis including event success, ROI, prospect engagement, and competitive intelligence analysis on industry trends
Support product launches, open house events, and community outreach initiatives
Oversee customer training and product adoption to support customer sales enablement
Partner with the Regional Audiology Field Trainer to identify customer-specific training opportunities
Stay informed on competitive products, pricing, and industry trends
Deliver engaging training programs on WSA's audiology products, software, and clinical applications for our core product lines, Widex, Signia, and Rexton
Train customers - including Audiologists, ENT specialists, Patient Care Coordinators, and Hearing Care Providers - on consultative selling techniques
Conduct additional workshops and trainings as needed to ensure sales enablement
Documentation and continuous learning and collaboration
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce including customer engagement activities and communications
Conduct prompt follow ups and escalations with customers and prospects
Collaborate with other sales team members on projects and multi-region accounts and events, share relevant market insights with colleagues during sales meetings, and assist other team members as appropriate
Collaborate cross-functionally with other WSA Canada Departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, IT, Legal, and HR
Participate in local and global internal meetings such as townhalls, webinars, and trainings
Support the development of the annual strategic business plan and contribute to quarterly reviews
Employ knowledge gained from first-hand communications with customers to share constructive and solutions-focused ideas and feedback with appropriate internal stakeholders
What we're looking for:
Completion of post-secondary education, ideally at the Bachelor's level in the field of Communications, Business Administration or a similar field. A blend of other completed post-secondary education coupled with relevant experience will also be considered.
3+ years of experience in a b2b sales capacity where relationship management was a fundamental aspect of the role is required; experience with landing, training. and expanding b2b relationships is strongly preferred
Experience within the healthcare, healthcare device, and/or hearing care space would be a definite asset
Proficiency and experience leveraging Salesforce or other CRMs (customer relationship management platform) is required coupled with technical proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint), and virtual conferencing platforms such as Zoom or WebEx; experience with other sales enablement tools would be a definite asset
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal and comfortability in presenting information to clinical and non-clinical customer groups
Ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups to best understand unique customer challenges and regional factors with the goal of best positioning WSA's product lines
Comfortability in conducting business reviews and employing new strategies to drive revenue with at-risk customer groups
Willingness to participate in extensive travel within the defined region (up to 60% on average) is required; some infrequent travel to other regions within Canada may be expected for company and industry events and trainings; access to a car and a valid driver's license is required
Bilingualism in French would be considered an asset, though not required
