As a Lead Generation Specialist for the Hearing Center inside a host environment, you are the frontline ambassador for life-changing hearing care. Your primary mission is to proactively identify, engage, and qualify potential hearing-aid candidates among members and guests. Using a consultative approach, you’ll educate shoppers about hearing health, conduct quick on-site screenings, and schedule no-cost consultations with licensed hearing professionals—all while delivering an exceptional member experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage & Educate(Inreach): Approach members in high-traffic areas (near pharmacy, optical, entrances) using approved openers and educational tools to spark conversations about hearing health.
- Screen & Qualify: Perform quick, non-diagnostic hearing checks (using tablet-based apps or handheld devices) to identify potential candidates.
- Book Appointments: Secure same-day or future bookings for free, full diagnostic evaluations with on-site audiologists or hearing instrument specialists.
- Maintain current and accurate client information in TCM including but not limited to address, phone, email, and physician. Exercise confidentiality as it relates to all business and client information.
- Communicate effectively via telephone, e-mail, text, and postal mail with clients. Retrieve phones messages and prioritizing return phone calls.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Log every interaction in Tracking Tool, and provide real-time feedback on member objections/FAQ trends. Performance Tracking: Hit monthly SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) targets; report on Show Rate, Conversion Rates, and Flow Through.
- Event Activation: Staff weekend demo tables, health fairs, and “Hearing Health Days” with games, giveaways, and live demos. Merchandising: Maintain clean, branded kiosk/demo areas; restock brochures and swag.
- Maintain a quiet, professional, and friendly environment during business hours. Our clients typically have a hearing need and require clearly annunciated communication, and proper grammar with written communication (email, text, etc).
- Time Management: Since the role supports multiple locations it is important to manage time effectively ensuring high levels of communication with: the providers onsite at each location; clients in multiple centers; and report on daily progress.
- Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA, Host environment policies, and state regulations for hearing screenings.
- Work within a team environment with other members of the center staff to achieve goals established by regional and senior leadership teams. Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner. Attend all required meetings and trainings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Engagement Skill Competencies:
Proven quota attainment – you’ve consistently delivered 40+ Bookings/month in similar roles.
- Experience interacting with customers/clients, experience in sales environment preferred. Previous experience in hearing, optical, or pharmacy retail is a plus.
- Exceptional Listener – can pick up subtle cues about hearing difficulty
- Empathetic communicator who can discuss sensitive topics(aging, stigma) without pressure.
- Polished appearance and professional demeanor aligned with HearUSA and Host environment standards.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and use new computer programs/applications.
- 2–4 years in B2B lead generation, ideally selling into healthcare or med-tech (hearing industry experience a strong plus).
- High School diploma preferred or equivalent work history.
- English - Bilingual(Spanish/English) a strong plus in select markets.
Expected Travel Days
- 1 - 5 days per week; Occasional onsite training/events may be required
