We are looking for a multi-faceted customer service professional to join our Client Care team in supporting the continued success of our Ottawa Vanier hearing clinic. This is a full-time permanent position. This opportunity would be a great career move for someone with strong administration/customer service skills.
Key Position Information:
- $21 - $24 per hour starting compensation based on experience + quarterly bonus entitlement tied to clinic profitability
- 8:30 - 4:30 pm working hours Monday to Friday
- Onsite position based at our Vanier clinic

What you'll be responsible for:
- Act as a front-line point of contact for clients attending appointments or walk-in visits to our clinic
- Balancing schedules for clinicians and maintaining systems and physical files with accurate patient information and appointment specifics
- Participating in some community events on behalf of HearCANADA to promote our services as Guelph's number one choice for hearing care
- Processing payments (cash, card, insurance), including some third-party billing
- Ordering office supplies
- Assisting clinicians with hearing product sales
- Helping with general hearing aid care/maintenance and sterilization of equipment within the clinic
What we are looking for:
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalency; post-secondary education or courses in marketing, business, or healthcare would be an asset, though not required
- Prior experience in customer service, administration, and retail/b2c sales
- Bilingualism in French/English is required
- Some access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license is required as some localized travel will be required for events
- An energetic, self-driven person who is excited about business development and community partnerships/marketing
- Experience in event planning, lead generation, business development a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish and build relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and community partners
- Proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office
