ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategically manage procurement of local Indirect Materials for US Wholesale business.
  
• Oversee and manage indirect procurement categories, spent & projects in close collaboration and alignment with local Senior Category Specialist as well as Global Category Managers where applicable (ex. Consulting & Professional Services, IT) based on individual workload, experience, local market knowledge, etc
  
• Engage effectively with stakeholders on strategic procurement topics. Stakeholders include mix of local business leads across Finance, HR, Sales, Operations, Facilities, IT, etc.
  
• Ensure procurement is being brought-in at ‘discovery phase’ or early in business process to ensure and enable proper procurement performance
  
• (Re-)install and enforce standard procurement processes adherence (Rfx, PR/PO)
  
• Cascade the global targets and deliver annual financial and non-financial targets of the region
  
• Deliver indirect category benefits in region through sourcing, demand management, supplier relationship management and supplier development

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree
  
• 5+ years’ experience in a (indirect) procurement focused role
  
• Leadership experience
  
• Must possess a general & broad strategic procurement skill set
  
• Ability to be physically present in our two offices in Hauppauge, New York and Iselin, New Jersey
  
• Technical and cost driver knowledge in indirect materials
  
• Program and process development to integrate cost savings strategy into business context
  
• Deep knowledge about (indirect) procurement process and implementation
  
• Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly demonstrate and explain financial performance and underlying business drivers to a range of audiences
  
• Ability to execute tasks and deliver presentations in a high-pressure environment
  
• Ability to work and manage suppliers to deliver results within designated timelines
