ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides technical direction and oversight, as the Subject Matter Expert, for the insurance operations of the hearing centers
- Collaborate with our client-facing colleagues with various inquiries and requests.
- Partners with Contracting, Insurance Billing and Verification of Benefits teams to ensure all field staff are properly trained on insurance operations processes and procedures.
- Ensure client experience is consistent across all hearing center locations with specific focus on increasing accuracy in Insurance benefit utilization.
- Acts as liaison between Insurance Billing and Hearing Center team to obtain missing insurance billing related documents and to address and reduce insurance related errors.
- Responsible for the timely resolution of insurance operations support tickets.
- Assists other insurance operations team members when necessary in order to maintain high level of support commitment to hearing centers.
- Partner with insurance operations leadership to make recommendations related to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and potential enhancement to the client management system (TCM)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Health Insurance plans and reimbursement models including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret health plan contractual guidelines specifically around insurance benefits and insurance billing requirements.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory billing requirements.
- Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing
- Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast paced environment
- Ability to plan activities and programs such as meetings and orientations
- Ability to develop and give oral presentations to both large and small groups
- Advanced analytical skills required. Intermediate skills in word excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience interacting with customers, clients and senior management.

THIS CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK PACIFIC STANDARD TIME HOURS
HOURLY SALARY RANGE: $24-28/HOUR
